Happy Tuesday! It’s time again for another edition of Teaser Tuesdays…
Here are the rules:

- Let the book fall open to a random page

This week’s teaser:

This book was initially recommended to my by Amazon and I read the synopsis and added it to my wish list. (Needless to say, the concept of a vampiric ninja just appeals to me on so many levels.) Then the magical book fairies at Simon & Schuster sent me a copy and I was all smiles (hooray for book fairies!!). I’m only a couple pages into this one, but I can’t wait to dive deeper. So far, I know there will be a comedic edge to it, which is a major plus.

Random. I’m currently writing Blood Ninja II, and I googled “Hokugawa monastery” because I couldn’t remember whether it actually existed or whether I made it up (I really, really need to get better at research). And I came across this. I hope you enjoy the book! Some of the details are actually properly researched and everything, I totally swear.
